About Larsen's Auto Repair

Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

Olympia is in Washington, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Olympia follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I got an oil change and an alignment on my car. The service was quick, and everyone was kind. The waiting room was clean and it was a nice space to wait for my car overall. Any future needs for my car, I will always be going here. You can tell they prioritize quality!

When my wife and I first got back to Washington State, our car blew up on us about 50 miles from the destination. We had it towed to Larsen's Auto repair, and were we ever surprised when they called the next day to tell us that our car was dead on arrival, never to be brought back to life without a new engine. Most shops would at least charge us for the diagnostic testing, but Larsen's Auto told us that there was no charge. We were also informed that when we purchased a new vehicle, we could bring it to the shop and they would run a free 30 point inspection on the new vehicle. We now have a Nissan Titan truck, and it broke down on us a few days ago. Had it towed to Larsen's Auto Repair, and they had it back to us before the end of the next business day. I'm not sure how we got lucky enough to find an honest auto repair shop right off, but we won't be taking our vehicle anywhere else. Larsen's is your one stop auto repair facility, and we're happy we found them. Rock on guys!

My friends and I were on a road trip from AZ and we had a bit of a mechanical issue in Tacoma. We stopped at autozone and replaced the CV axle in the parking lot thinking we fixed the issue. We called Larsenโs when we got back on the road and my truck was still making a weird noise. We realized we had to stop and we werenโt going to make our next stop 500 miles away that day. These guys at Larsenโs actually turned away our business at first and said if the shop down the street canโt accommodate us then bring it in. We ended up bringing it in and they squeezed us in for a pretty big job. Turned out the hub was destroyed and started to damage other parts in the front end. These guys were BUSY with a full lot AND they turned my truck around in 1 day for us to get back on the road. I am TRULY GRATEFUL for these guys. In small talk, the bartender at our hotel also told us they had a good reputation around town so that just goes to show this company is made of up of good people. I donโt know if Iโll ever need a repair shop in Olympia Washington again, but if I do Iโm going to Larsenโs. The price also came in lower than the initial quote - just good people.

I have been a customer of Larsen's for at least a decade, and they have kept great records of work done on my two vehicles. There have been two incidents that required corrections that they were quick to resolve. They have earned my complete trust and faith in the quality of work that they offer. The brake service they performed was something I knew had to be done and they had confirmed my suspicions from an inspection of my vehicle. They assured that I had a reasonable amount of time to accomplish it. After the service had been performed, I feel a significant difference in the way my brakes work. Their service has been excellent and I drive with confidence knowing that my vehicles are operating safe and efficiently.

Iโve now taken my 2014 BMW 535d to Larsenโs Auto Repair a couple of times, and theyโve earned my trust. Most recently, I brought the car in after another shop told me I needed rear brakes, calipers, and suspension work totaling a pretty significant bill. Larsenโs took the time to actually inspect everything and gave me a much more accurate picture. They confirmed the rear brakes were still in good shape (around 10mm), the control arm bushings were fine, and none of that additional work was needed right now. That kind of honesty is rare. They previously handled my front brake service, and everything was done right, no issues since. This time they also completed an alignment and oil service, both at fair prices. Mark was especially helpful throughout the process. He clearly explained what was actually needed versus what could wait, and didnโt try to upsell anything. I never felt rushed or pressured, just informed. Bonus points to him since he's a fellow Atlanta Braves fan! If youโre looking for a shop that will diagnose correctly, communicate clearly, and not recommend unnecessary work, Larsenโs is a solid choice, especially if you have a BMW or higher-mileage vehicle and want s
